Yep, there they were; sitting on her couch in her apartment...waiting on mutual friends to arrive for movie marathon. To pass the time they were doing what most young adults love to do: watch youtube videos, of course. The longer they watched the closer they got until her head gently leaned onto his shoulder causing her heart to flutter and a smile break open upon her face. Arms crossed together and head on shoulder, they continued to watch and laugh together.
Laughing so hard he could barely see, he turned to look her in the face...he was awestruck as her smile was the most gorgeous smile he had ever laid eyes on. He could not help but fall for her a more and more every time he saw that beautiful smile.
She couldn't resist staring into those beautiful eyes of his. It was as if she could get lost yet be completely found within his gaze. The longer this moment held, the faster she fell for him. Then, it happened. He leaned it, she knew what this meant...he was going for the kiss. Her heart raced, by no means did she not want to kiss him but by no means did she want to kiss him here: in her apartment, watching youtube, waiting on friends. And with that thought, in that moment, she stood up and walked away. Leaving him following her with his gorgeous eyes across the room.
Their friends came, they laughed and joked all night, having the time of their life. She was happy with her decision and for the fact that at least for now, they would continue to be best friends and become closer with every look, conversation, and joke they shared.
